Johan Bender

I'm Johan, a Danish entrepreneur and CEO of Pluto Technologies, an AI company improving road maintenance around the world using computer vision and artificial intelligence.

My journey has taken me from Denmark to California, where I studied entrepreneurship at USC Marshall School of Business. I later studied Computer Science at the IT University of Copenhagen and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

As CEO of Pluto Technologies, I lead a team building AI-powered solutions that transform how road authorities and municipalities maintain their road infrastructure. Using computer vision and machine learning, we help governments make smarter, data-driven decisions about road maintenance worldwide.

Previously, I co-founded FreeBike Project, an innovative college branding solution that provided free bikes on more than 15 campuses across the United States. We partnered with Fortune 500 companies to create unique campus engagement opportunities while giving students sustainable transportation. FreeBike Project was highlighted during Barack Obama's National Entrepreneurship Month.
